Woodland United Fellowship is an Elder-Led Church.
The three pastors listed above function as a group of Elders that meet together regularly. They lead, plan, and pursue the Lord's calling upon the church and care for the spiritual needs of the church in prayer, teaching, and shepherding the congregation.
Josh & Missy Day
Josh and Missy serve as the worship leaders at WUF. It’s their belief that worship isn’t just what we do when we sing about Jesus— it’s the actions we take in our lives to bring God glory. They have been married since 2005 and have five daughters, Malaya, Zea, Gemma, Nora, and Elira. Josh also owns the local Big O Tires store, and Missy teaches voice and piano at Musictown Studio.
Gerald & Judith Shearman
Gerald and Judith have been married since 2007 and have two daughters, Rachel and Naomi. They co-lead the youth group and are both involved with the AWANA Woodland program, so they have a passion for teaching sound Biblical doctrine to young minds. Gerald also works at Nugget Market, and Judith also works as the Children's Ministry Coordinator and Secretary at WUF.
Paul grew up in Elk Grove as one of five children. He came to know Jesus Christ when two separate churches—Trinity Baptist Church and the Church of Christ—merged to became Woodland United Fellowship. He currently serves as our maintenance man and custodian.
